Outside Sales – Industrial Fluid Handling Equipment - Montreal – 980-618

 

Company:            Leading Nationwide Company specializing in fluid handling equipment

 

Summary:            As a Technical Sales Representative you will contribute to the development and achievement of our company’s business plan by developing a sales forecast, targeting account development plans and relationship strategies for each account, providing quarterly reports on progress against plans for each account, developing product, application and industry knowledge and supporting reactive accounts as required.  You will also be responsible to build, manage and enhance relationships with customers by creating and achieving Target Account Development Plans for each key customer, soliciting and securing orders from potential and existing customers, providing before and after sales service resulting in total customer satisfaction, assembling pursuit teams as appropriate, utilizing Product Specialists to penetrate target accounts, following up on new leads and reinforcing with the customer the depth and availability of products and services from our company as a total solutions provider.  Other responsibilities include, providing input to marketing strategies by recommending pricing changes when and where appropriate, keeping abreast of industry trends, supporting the relationship strategy for certain suppliers by responding to supplier leads as qualified by the manager, building and maintaining knowledge of all product offerings and engineered system applications, contributing to the development and effectiveness of the sales team by assisting with the orientation and training of new team members (both inside and outside) and maintaining appropriate sales records on a timely basis.

 

Education:           An education in engineering, CET qualification or equivalent experience

 

Experience:          3 years in industrial sales, 3 years of industry knowledge, knowledge of fluid handling process equipment preferable, ability to work as part of a team, strong account management skills, excellent communication skills, highly motivated, analysis and negotiation skills, computer literate: Word, Excel, Maximizer, Internet.
